Few people are unaware that baking soda is one of the most effective cleaning solution in today's world. Year in, year out, people spend a lot in buying cleaning chemicals to keep their homes clean. With baking soda, you not only get to save yourself all that excess access to chemicals, you also get to save up some cash.

The idea is to make a paste out of it. When done, rub this paste on the silver and rinse and dry. The silver will come out shining much more than ever.

Soap scums are found in areas where soap is used. From bathroom tiles, bathroom curtains, sinks, ceramics, etc. If you're planning to clean out the bathroom, you would need to make a paste of the baking soda. Deodourize Carpets and Clean Floors
As already stated, baking soda acts as a very good cleaning agent. Add it to your liquid when cleaning your tile and no-wax floors. It removes tough stains that normal cleaning chemicals may have difficulty removing. The Same can be said with carpets were it acts as a deodorizer. By kust simply spraying the baking soda on the carpets and allowing to sit for a while. You could do this and allow to sit overnight. Get a good vacuum and suck out all of the baking soda later.
If you have any old or unused baking soda that you plan to discard, a more efficient way to do this would be to flush it down the drains. Half a cup of it will work wonders if you maintain a routine to flush the drains with it. In no distant time, you would not have to worry about odours from the drain pipes.
